A speech or language screening is a quick way to see if your child may need speech and language therapy. It typically consists of an observation, questionnaire, and a checklist of skills. Most screenings yield a “pass” or “need more information”.

Lamplighter Speech & Language Therapy provides private, individual speech and language therapy to children ages 0-21. Our specialties are working with children who are D/deaf or Hard of Hearing, use Augmentative or Alternative Communication (AAC), or have language difficulties although we see children for articulation disorders, social/pragmatic issues, and more.

Lamplighter provides virtual, online speech and language screenings and therapy. Using the Zoom Online Conferencing platform, we can reach more children and families who may live far away, are high-risk for infections or diseases, or have time constraints. We also offer hybrid services if you’d prefer to start in-person then move towards remote.
